Mirror

I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.
Whatever I see, I swallow immediately.
Just as it is, unmisted by love or dislike
I am not cruel, only truthful –
The eye of a little god, four-cornered.
Most of the time I meditate on the opposite wall.
It is pink, with speckles. I have looked at it so long
I think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers.
Faces and darkness separate us over and over.

Now I am a lake. A woman bends over me.
Searching my reaches for what she really is.
Then she turns to those liars, the candles or the moon.
I see her back, and reflect it faithfully
She rewards me with tears and an agitation of hands.
I am important to her. She comes and goes.
Each morning it is her face that replaces the darkness.
In me she has drowned a young girl, and in me an old woman
Rises toward her day after day, like a terrible fish.

în spirit de “Awaking the centuries”

dragi  Turnători şi ne()Turnători,

în spiritul celor de la Haggard, cu faimosul lor “Awaking the centuries”, as vrea sa lansez ideea de proiect summer-poetry work, proiect care implica deplasarea trupei de turnatori, a iubitorilor de poezie intr-o anumita (care?) parte a tarii si implicit a poezitului non-stop. am discutat, in mare, despre asta, dar bacul se termina, vacanta vine si pentru noi si ar trebui sa concretizam acest lucru. as vrea sa veniti cu propuneri pentru locatie, perioada dar si cu programul de acolo. de altfel, ar fi frumos si un invitat-doi-trei mai cunoscuti. asadar, va invit sa turnam idei si sa demonstram, ca la PP2008, ca putem face treaba buna impreuna.

(ar mai fi variante la  mine, unde oricum o sa veniti, sau la Sangeorz-Bai (judetul Bistrita), dar inca nu am gasit imagini dragute cu zona. e statiune balneoc-climaterica si e destul de cunoscut. este si munte si Somesul si avantajul e ca ma cunosc personal cu locul. suntem prieteni din copilarie.
